Rangoli Varieties

Our shop, Rangoli Varieties, is at C-3 on 5th Road in Hari Nagar. It is right near the cross road on Gotri Road. The address says Vadodara and Kondhwa Khurd, which is a bit confusing on paper, but the locals know exactly where we are. We sell all kinds of small things for the house. It could be anything from a plastic bucket to some decorative items for a festival. The shop is a bit tight because we have so many different things on the shelves. I try to keep it organized, but when new stock comes in, it just ends up in piles for a few days. The street outside is usually full of people walking their dogs or going to the market. I like to sit near the front and watch the world go by when it's quiet. We don't have a website or any fancy marketing. People just see our board and walk in. I’ve been here for many years and I’ve seen the neighborhood grow around us. The walls are a bit faded and the floor has some cracks, but it’s a comfortable place for us. My family helps out during the busy holiday seasons when everyone wants decorations. We don't do any big promotions. We just open up in the morning and wait for the regulars to show up. It's a very normal, everyday kind of business.
