Ramdasi Expotrade Private Limited

If you come down Paud Road, you’ll find us at Plot No. 22 in the Swami Siddh Society. The building is called Madhumati. It’s a bit of a quieter area compared to the main market, which is nice because we can actually hear ourselves think. Ramdasi Expotrade Private Limited has been based here in this society for some time. Working out of a place like this feels more like being part of a neighborhood than just being in a cold office building. We have neighbors who are living their lives right next to where we are trying to organize our export documents. The office itself has big windows that let in some light, but we usually keep the curtains half-drawn to keep the afternoon sun out. We spend most of the day coordinating with different suppliers and checking on shipping schedules. It involves a lot of back-and-forth on the phone. Sometimes the society gate is a bit of a hassle for the bigger trucks, so we have to coordinate the timing quite carefully. The pantry is small, just enough for a kettle and some biscuits. We usually take turns making tea in the afternoon when things slow down for a minute. It’s a steady pace of work here, mostly focused on getting the details right so nothing gets stuck at the docks later on.
