This shop is right near Devedhar Hospital in Kalewadi, so we see a lot of people coming and going all day. It’s Shop Number 1 in the Moneka Building. We’ve got all sorts of stuff crammed in here. You walk in and there’s plastic buckets, school notebooks, and hair clips all in the same aisle. Vijay Nagar stays pretty busy, and Pimpri traffic is always something to talk about with the regulars. I spend most of my morning rearranging the shelves because things get messy fast. Customers come in looking for a specific type of pen or maybe a gift for a kid’s birthday party. The hospital being close means people stop for batteries or small snacks too. It’s a small space, so you have to watch your elbows when it's full. My nephew comes in after school to help me move the heavier boxes from the delivery truck. The floor is old tiles and they never quite look clean no matter how much I mop. We keep a radio on usually, just to have some background noise when it’s quiet between the rushes. Sometimes the light flickers in the back, I should probably fix that soon. It’s just a normal neighborhood variety store. We don't have everything, but we have most of what you'd need in a pinch. Being on this side of Pimpri is okay, though the parking outside is a nightmare for everyone. We get a lot of rainy days where the roof leaks a tiny bit near the door.
