Raj Overseas

Our office sits on the first floor of the Ishwarlal And Sons Building, right on M G Road in Lonavala. Being near the Shivaji Statue makes us pretty easy to find for anyone who is familiar with the town. Lonavala might seem like a quiet place for a business that deals with overseas trade, but we stay quite busy here. We handle a variety of export and import tasks, mostly coordinating between local suppliers and international buyers. The air is a bit fresher here than in the big cities, and we like that. Our workspace is simple, with just enough room for our computers and the stacks of files we have to keep for the government records. We don't have a lobby or a fancy sign; we just have our name on the door and a lot of work on our desks. Most of our day involves emailing people in different time zones and trying to make sure the trucks get down the ghats on time to reach the port. It’s a steady kind of life, and we’ve built some good relationships with the people around us. When the tourists swarm the town on weekends, we are usually tucked away in the office finishing up our weekly reports. We aren't a big corporate entity with lots of rules; we just operate in a way that makes sense for us and our clients. It is honest work in a beautiful location, and it suits us fine.
