Rainbow Classes

Rainbow Classes is tucked into Kamana Apartment over in Dhankawadi. We are specifically in the Punyaai Nagar section of Balaji Nagar. It’s a decent area with a lot of families living nearby. The apartment itself isn't huge, but we’ve made it work for our classes. It feels a bit more like a home than a school, which I think makes the students feel a bit more relaxed. We have our main room where most of the teaching happens and then some smaller spots for individual work. There are always books piled up on the shelves and papers on the tables. It’s a bit messy at times, but that’s just how it is when people are actually working. We’ve been in Kamana Apartment for a good number of years. The neighbors are used to the kids coming in and out in the evenings. We don't have a fancy reception desk or a secretary. Usually, one of us just opens the door and we get started with the day’s lessons. It’s a very low-key operation. We don't use any flashy advertisements to get people in. Most of the families around Punyaai Nagar just know we are here. It’s a simple life, teaching the local kids and watching them grow up over the years. We like being a small part of the Dhankawadi community. It’s not glamorous, but it is real work that we enjoy doing every day in this little apartment.
