Radhe Shyam Novelties

Radhe Shyam Novelties is situated right opposite the Ashtvinayak Mandir in Vastral, Chinchwad. It is a very convenient spot because so many people visit the temple and then they see our shop. I have been standing behind this counter for many years. We sell a variety of items like small gifts, toys for children, and things people need for their daily prayers. It is not a very large shop, but we make the most of the space. My son helps me with the heavy lifting when new crates of goods arrive. Sometimes the shop gets very busy during the festival season and it is hard to move around inside. We do not have any fancy displays or expensive lighting. It is just a regular shop with metal shelves and glass counters. I know most of the people who live in this part of Chinchwad. We chat about the weather or the local news while I wrap up their purchases. The floor is a bit worn out from all the walking, but it shows how many people have visited us. I do not use a computer for my billing, just a simple paper receipt book. It has worked for me all these years. We are just a local family trying to do our best and provide things the neighborhood needs. It is a simple life and I enjoy it.
