R T Tathe

R T Tathe is tucked away in Mittal Estate over in Shivaji Nagar. If you know Andheri 59, you know how crowded it gets during the day. We’ve been operating from here for a good amount of time. It’s an industrial estate vibe, so it’s mostly about work and not much for show. We have our desks and our equipment all set up in a way that makes sense to us, even if it looks a bit messy to someone else. There’s always the sound of trucks moving and people shouting orders in the hallway. It keeps us on our toes. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It’s just us doing what we know how to do. Most of our day is spent on the phone or handling whatever comes through the door. Andheri is a tough place to work sometimes because of the rain and the heat, but being in the estate helps us stay focused. We drink a lot of tea from the stall downstairs. It’s a local business through and through. We know our neighbors and they know us. We don’t make things complicated. If there’s a job to do, we just get on with it until it’s finished. That's how we've always handled things here. It's not glamorous, but it works for us and the people who come to see us. It’s about getting through the daily list and making sure nothing gets left behind at the end of the shift.
