Pushpkunjagro Farmers Producer Company Limited is based in Adhegaon, which is in the Kannad taluka. Our office is at house number 72, which is Somnath P Khillare’s place. It’s a local operation, through and through. Most of us have been farming these same fields since we were kids, and we know the land around Adhegaon like the back of our hands. We started this company because we wanted a way to organize ourselves better. Instead of everyone going their own way, we meet up at Somnath’s and talk about what we need for the next season. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big offices or shiny brochures. We’re just the same people you see in the market every week, trying to make the farm work for us. It takes a lot of patience to deal with the soil here, but we have plenty of that. It's just how life goes in this part of the country.
