Our setup is located in the Sadbhav Cooperative Housing Society, right near the Mahatma Society gate in Kothrud. If you know Pune at all, you know Kothrud is always bustling with people and traffic, but our little corner in A2-13 is actually pretty tucked away from all that noise. The office is essentially a converted apartment, so it has that cozy, slightly cramped feeling that comes with a local business. We have been here for a good amount of time, and the locals in the society all know us by sight now. It is not the kind of place where you will see people in suits or formal ties. We mostly wear whatever is comfortable and spend our hours looking at files or talking on the phone. The furniture is a bit mismatched because we just added pieces as we grew over the years instead of buying a whole set. Sometimes the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound that we have all learned to ignore, and the internet can be a bit slow when it rains heavily outside. We do not have a front desk or a receptionist to greet you; usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and says hello. We are just trying to run a decent business and stay on top of our responsibilities without making a big fuss about it. It’s a very normal, everyday sort of place to work.
