Basco House Of Hosiery

We've been at shop A-75 in the K.K. Market for quite some time now. Most people know us for all the hosiery items we keep on the shelves. Pune-Satara Road gets pretty busy, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping. Our space isn't huge, but we make sure we have enough socks, leggings, and undergarments for the locals who stop by. Usually, it's just a few of us here making sure things are in the right place. We don't do anything fancy with the displays. It's mostly just cardboard boxes and plastic hangers everywhere. Sometimes the market gets a bit crowded, and it's hard to find parking, but people still find their way to us. We just focus on keeping the stock full. It gets dusty being near the main road, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the glass counters. If you live around here, you’ve probably walked past us a dozen times while doing your grocery shopping. We open up every morning and stay until the market starts to quiet down. There isn't much to say other than we sell what people need for their daily wear. We've seen the area change a lot over the years, but the shop stays pretty much the same. It's a simple way to make a living and we get to talk to different people every day who are just looking for a decent pair of socks.
