Ptronics

We’ve been here at Kanchan Apts in Parvati Gaon for a while now. It’s a small shop, mostly just me and a couple of others trying to keep up with all the repairs people bring in. Pune-09 can get pretty loud during the day with the traffic outside, but we just keep our heads down and work on whatever is on the bench. Usually, there are stacks of old parts and circuit boards everywhere because we don't like throwing things away if they might still be useful later. It’s not the neatest place you’ll ever see, but we know where everything is kept. Sometimes people come in just to ask a quick question about their electronics, and we try to help out if we aren't too buried in work at that moment. The rainy season is always a bit of a struggle because the walls get damp, but the location is good for the locals who don't want to travel too far into the city. We open up around ten, sometimes a bit later if the traffic is bad or if I had to run an errand in the morning. Parvati Gaon has changed a lot over the years, but our spot in the building has stayed pretty much the same. We have an old fan that makes a bit of a racket, but it keeps the air moving while we're soldering things or checking connections. It’s just a regular, local business trying to do work without any fuss.
