Our workspace is at Flat No 104 in the Anant Kripa Society, located in Kasaba Peth. Pune is a city with a lot of history, and being in one of the older peths feels right for us. The office is basically an apartment that we’ve converted. We have benches for electronics work and a few desks for the paperwork part of the business. D B Power Electronics isn’t a massive factory. It’s more of a quiet place where we tinker with components and test out different setups. The society itself is pretty quiet, mostly older residents who have lived in Kasaba Peth for decades. We have to be careful not to block the parking area with our scooters. Sometimes we take a break and walk down the lane to get some vada pav. The office inside has that smell of solder and old paper. We don't have any shiny brochures or a big marketing team. It’s just a couple of us who know our way around a circuit board. The windows look out onto the courtyard of the society. It’s a very grounded sort of place to work. We don't have meeting rooms with projectors; we just talk over the workbench when something needs to be figured out. It’s a simple, honest way to run a business in the heart of the city.
