Pruthashakti Farmer Producer Companylimited is sitting right at Sno 127 in Dharmrajnagar, over in the Chinchwad area. We are near Gurudwarawalhekarwadi, which has changed a lot lately with all the new buildings coming up. Even though things are getting more urban, we’re still focused on the farming side of life. It’s a bit of a strange mix, seeing the city grow right next to where we work the ground. We have this small office where we manage things, but you’ll usually see us out and about. We aren't some big corporate entity; we’re just people from the area who want to keep the agricultural tradition going. Sometimes it’s hard to find good help or to deal with the traffic when we’re moving stuff around. We use simple English here because we’re not trying to impress anyone with big words. We just want to get the work done. The soil in this part of Pune has its own quirks, and we’ve learned how to deal with them over the years. We meet up to talk about seeds, fertilizers, and who is growing what this season. It’s a lot of practical stuff that doesn’t always make it into books. We just stay busy and try to make sure everyone in our group is doing alright. It’s steady work and it keeps us grounded.
