Professional Designer Unisex Saloon

Our shop, Professional Designer Unisex Saloon, is in the Varpe Building. We are situated on Warje Naka Road, right in the Karve Nagar-Hingne Budrukh area of Pune. The Ganpati Chowk is the main landmark nearby, so it’s pretty easy for anyone to find us. Since we are a unisex place, we get all kinds of people walking through the door. One minute we’re doing a simple trim for a guy, and the next we’re helping someone with a full hair color change. The smell of hairspray and shampoo is always hanging in the air. We have a few different stations set up with mirrors and adjustable chairs. The floor is tiled, which makes it easier to clean up the hair that piles up every hour. We’ve got some magazines on the table for people waiting their turn, though most just look at their phones these days. It can get quite loud when multiple hair dryers are going at once, plus the noise from the traffic out on the road. We just try to do a decent job so people come back next time they need a haircut. It’s a local business through and through, sitting right in the middle of a busy neighborhood. It gets pretty hectic on the weekends when everyone wants to look their best for a wedding or a party. We try to keep things moving so no one has to wait for too long in the chairs.
