Premier Hair Dresser

Our shop is located at Shop Number 4, right at the Kusalkar Putla Chowk in the Gokhale Nagar area of Pune. We are very close to the Hanuman Mandir, which is where most people look when they are trying to find us. It’s a small place but it serves the local community well. I start the day by pulling up the shutters and getting the chairs ready. The mirrors have seen a lot of faces over the years. Gokhale Nagar is a lively neighborhood, and being at the Chowk means there is always something to look at through the front window. We don’t do anything too complicated here, just regular haircuts and shaves for the people who stop by. The shop has a simple setup with a few chairs and a place for people to wait their turn. You’ll often hear the radio playing some old songs while I work. It’s not a polished or fancy place, but it is comfortable for the regulars who have been coming here for a long time. I’ve lived in Pune most of my life and being part of this local spot feels right. Sometimes the shop gets a bit cramped when it's busy, but nobody seems to mind much. We just focus on the job at hand and keep the conversation going. It’s a practical way to spend the day, and we like being near the temple.
