Prem Novelties

Prem Novelties is located in the Tukaram Complex over in Wakad. I started this shop because I wanted to work for myself and be my own boss. It is a small unit but it fits everything we need for now. We have a lot of items for kids, like stickers and small plastic toys. Also some things for the ladies like clips and bangles. Wakad has changed so much with all the new buildings, but Tukaram Complex is still a familiar spot for the locals. I am usually here by myself most of the day. It gets a bit lonely sometimes until the afternoon rush starts. I do not have a big team or a fancy office. It is just me and the counter. The shelves are made of simple wood and they are starting to show their age a bit. I try to organize everything by color or size, but usually, things get mixed up after a busy Saturday. I do not use any high-tech gadgets to run the shop. I just write everything down in my ledger. It is a practical way of doing things and it works for me. If someone is looking for something specific, they usually just describe it and I go hunting through the boxes. It is an honest way to spend the day. I like being part of the neighborhood and seeing the same faces every week.
