Pratik Gents Parlour

Pratik Gents Parlour is tucked away in Sonal Residency, which is in Ideal Colony in the Kothrud area. Kothrud is mostly a residential place, so we get a lot of people who live just a few minutes away. Our shop is small and simple. We have the usual chairs, some large mirrors, and a shelf for our combs and sprays. We mainly focus on men’s haircuts and shaves. It’s a quiet environment compared to the main roads of Pune. We spend the day talking to the local residents about what’s going on in the colony or the latest news. We don't have a big team or anything; it’s just us doing the work. In the mornings, we get the older gentlemen who like to come in early, and in the evenings, it’s mostly younger guys coming back from their offices. We make sure the capes are clean and the scissors are sharp. It’s not the kind of place with bright neon signs or loud music. We just keep it calm and do the job. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that's just part of living and working here. We’ve been in Sonal Residency for a while now and we’ve become a part of the daily routine for many people in Ideal Colony. It’s a steady way to make a living and we appreciate the neighbors who support us.
