Prasidhi Mahila Farmer Producer Companylimited is based in Pimpalgaon Duba, which falls under the Ner post office area in Yavatmal. The company is run from Sushila Golait’s place. It’s a group of women here trying to manage the farming work together. We don't have a big corporate building or anything like that. Most of our meetings happen right here in the village under the open sky or in a small room. Since we are a farmer producer company, our main focus is on what we grow and how we sell it to make a living. Yavatmal is known for its farming, so there is always something to keep us busy throughout the year. We started this because we wanted to have a bit more control over our own work and our future. It’s not always smooth sailing, and we definitely make mistakes sometimes with the complicated paperwork. But we learn as we go and help each other out. The days are long, often starting very early before the sun gets too hot to work in the fields. We talk about seeds, fertilizers, and the market prices mostly. We don't use big words or try to act like we are some huge company from the city. We are just local women working the land and trying to do right by our families and our village.
