Aundh is a busy place these days, but we remember when it was a bit more like a village. We are right here in the middle of it with our stationery and gift articles. It’s not a huge store, but we cram a lot of things onto the shelves. People from all over the neighborhood come in for basic things like pens or paper. Sometimes they are looking for a small gift for a birthday party. We’ve been around for a long time now. Aundh has changed so much with all the new buildings and shops, but we just keep doing our thing. The shop can get a bit dusty because the road is right there, but we try to keep it tidy. I usually spend my time sitting behind the counter or reorganizing the notebooks. We don't have a fancy sign or anything, just the one everyone knows. It’s nice to see the kids grow up and then come back with their own kids. That’s the best part of being in a place like Aundh for so long. The light inside isn't always great, but we know where every single pencil and card is kept. It’s a simple life and we aren't looking to change much. We just open up the shop in the morning and see who comes by. It’s a good spot to be, right in the heart of everything that's going on here. We hope to stay here as long as we can and keep serving the folks who live nearby.
