You can find us at number 85 on L.B. Shastri Road in Navi Peth. It’s a busy street, so there is always something going on outside. Being in this part of Pune is convenient because so many things are within walking distance. Our office is a straightforward place where we handle accounting and tax work. There are no big signs or flashy lights. We just have our name on the door and a bunch of files inside. Working as a practicing CA means our schedule is mostly dictated by the government's calendar. When it’s time for returns, we are here for long hours. When things are slower, we catch up on the filing and organizing. The room is filled with the sound of calculators and fans. We keep it simple because that’s how we like to work. Clients come in and sit at the small table we have for meetings. It’s usually a lot of talk about income, expenses, and whatever new rules have come out lately. We don't try to sound like a big corporation because we aren't one. It’s just a small setup where we do our best to keep everyone's books in order. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and that’s the highlight of the afternoon. It’s a very typical Pune office life, really. We know the neighbors and the local shops, and we just keep plugging away at the work every day.
