Poonam Varities

We are set up on Nagar Road. It’s a very long road and we are just one of the many small shops you see along it. Poonam Varities has been around for a good while now. We sell a bit of this and a bit of that. It’s the kind of place where you can find random things you didn't even know you were looking for until you saw them. The traffic on Nagar Road is always heavy, so there is a constant hum of engines and horns outside. We don't have a big fancy building with glass doors. It's just a regular shop with wooden shelves lining the walls. We spend our time dusting the items and talking to the people who stop by for a minute. Some people are just passing through on their way to another part of the city. Others live in the apartments nearby and come here for their daily needs. We aren't a big chain store or anything like that. It's just us running the place day to day. We don't have a corporate office or people in suits. When something needs fixing in the shop, we usually just do it ourselves. The floor is made of old tiles and the lighting isn't the best, but it works fine for us. We like the independence of having our own small shop. It’s not about becoming some huge company. We just want to keep the shelves full and the shop open.
