Pooja Parlours

Pooja Parlours is located in Raviwar Peth, which is one of those old parts of Pune where the lanes are narrow and always full of life. We are quite near the Mahdhv Nath Mahraj Mandir, so that makes it easier for people to find our shop among all the other businesses. It’s a small place, nothing too grand. We focus on providing basic beauty treatments for the women who live in this busy market area. Most of our work involves things like eyebrows, simple haircuts, and sometimes henna during the festival times. The shop has been around for a long time and it shows its age a little bit, but we try to keep it as clean as possible. It’s often quite noisy outside with the temple bells and the vendors shouting, but that’s just life in Raviwar Peth. We don't have any big signs or fancy decorations inside. It’s just a few chairs, a couple of mirrors, and the tools we need to do our job. Many of our customers are regulars who have been coming to us for years and they don't even need to tell us what they want anymore. We just get to work. It’s a very practical, down-to-earth business. We don't promise anything revolutionary; we just do a decent job for a fair price, and that seems to be enough for our neighbors.
