Pooja Ketkars Academy

Pooja Ketkars Academy is based out of Matrusmruti Apartment in Mayur Colony. It’s a nice area in Kothrud, and we are quite close to Jog School, so a lot of our students just walk over after their classes finish there. We use a space in Plot No 92. It's not a large commercial building, just a regular apartment setup where we’ve put in some benches and boards. It feels quite personal being in a residential building like this. I think it helps the kids feel less pressured than they do in a big institution. We mostly focus on the local students from around Kothrud. We spend our days going over math, science, and whatever else they bring in. There’s no big marketing team here. It’s usually just me and a couple of others helping out. We deal with the parents directly and get to know the families over the years. Some days are quieter than others, but when it's exam season, the place is full of energy and a bit of stress too. We just try to keep things steady and make sure everyone gets the attention they need. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change, but our little corner in the apartment stays pretty much the same.
