Plumpackage

We are located over in Dapodi at 213/03, right near the CME area. If you know Pune, you know this part of town has a lot of trucks and movement. Our place, Plumpackage, is basically a hub for boxes and wrap. It’s a bit dusty because of all the cardboard, but that’s just how it is. We don't have a front desk person or a waiting room with magazines. Usually, you’ll find us in the back moving stuff around. We started doing this because there was a need for simple packaging help in this area. It’s hard work on the back sometimes, especially in the summer. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just take things and wrap them up so they don't break. We have a few old machines that make a lot of noise, but they get the job done. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we all know each other’s families and stuff. We have our tea breaks together under the shade outside. Sometimes we run out of tape or the delivery truck is late, and we just have to deal with it. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to make sure the people who come to us get their stuff packed right so it gets where it is going. It’s an honest day's work and we go home tired but okay with it. That’s our life here in Dapodi.
