Plastic Production Co

We’ve been here at Talawade Road 166 for quite a while now. Most days it’s just the sound of the machines running and the guys moving crates around. Plastic Production Co isn't a fancy place, it’s mostly just dust and the smell of warm plastic when the molds are working. We get people coming by asking about parts or just checking on orders we’re running for them. The road outside gets pretty busy during the afternoon shift change, so we usually try to get the loading done early. It’s a lot of work keeping everything organized. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend half the morning fixing a heater or a press. We don’t have a front office with air conditioning or anything like that. It’s just the workshop and a small desk where we keep the ledgers. The neighbors know us as the place that’s always got a truck parked out front. We’ve seen the area change a bit over the years, but the shop stays pretty much the same. It’s loud and it’s messy, but we get the jobs finished. If you walk down Talawade Road 166, you’ll see our sign, though it’s faded a bit from the sun. We spend most of our time out on the floor, not sitting in chairs talking. That’s just how it goes here. We keep a pot of tea going in the corner for whoever needs a break.
