Pjadhav Farmer Producer Company Limited

We set up Pjadhav Farmer Producer Company Limited in our village, Deogaon R. It’s located at Prabhakar Kashinath Jadhav’s place in the Vaijapur area of Aurangabad. We aren't a big company with a lot of money. We’re just a group of local farmers who thought it was a good idea to pool our resources. Most days you’ll find one or two of us sitting around discussing the crops or trying to figure out the paperwork the government needs. The office isn't much to look at, just a simple room with a table and some chairs. We get a lot of visitors from the nearby fields who stop by to chat or ask for advice. It gets pretty hot here in the summer months. We try to help each other out with fertilizers and finding buyers for our produce. It’s not always easy, and sometimes the rain doesn't come when we need it to. We don't have a marketing team or anyone like that. We just talk to people face to face. Our goal is basically just to keep the farms running and maybe save a little bit of money on the side. We've lived in Deogaon R all our lives, so everyone knows everyone else. It’s a small operation, but it’s ours. We just take things one day at a time and hope for a good season. There is always a lot of work to be done around the village.
