We have been operating Pittie Polymers Pvt Ltd out of Chakan for quite a while now, right near the Krishna Chowk area. If you know the Chakan Talegaon Road, you know it gets pretty busy with all the heavy trucks moving in and out of the different industrial zones. Being over here at Kharabwadi means we see the dusty, hardworking side of the manufacturing world every single day. Our place is actually tucked in with the Ma Care building, so it can be a little bit tricky to find if you are not really looking for it. It is just a regular industrial setup with no fancy glass windows or big lobbies. We mostly deal with plastics and polymers because that is what the market around this part of Pune needs. Most of the people working here come from the nearby areas or stay in Chakan itself. It is a lot of physical work, especially when the machines are running all day and the heat gets trapped under the roof. We just focus on getting our orders out on time and keeping things moving. Sometimes the traffic on the main road makes our deliveries a real headache, but that is just part of living and working in this industrial belt. We are not trying to be the biggest company out there, just trying to keep the wheels turning and do our bit. You will usually find us having tea near the gate during breaks. It is a noisy place, but it is our home.
