Our office is over in Ganraj Estates, unit I21, near the Kirloskar Bridge in the Hadapsar area of Pune. Hadapsar is always busy, especially with all the industrial and IT activity happening nearby. Our spot for Philips Indiavishay Components India Pvt Ltd is in a commercial estate, so there is a lot of coming and going with trucks and vans throughout the day. The building is a standard concrete structure. Inside, it is all business. We have rows of desks, some equipment for the components side of things, and a lot of storage bins for various parts. It is not the quietest place because of the nearby traffic and the activity in the estate, but we have gotten used to the constant hum. There is a small canteen nearby where we get our lunch, or we just order in if we are too busy to head out. The office itself is a bit dusty because of the construction work that always seems to be happening in the area. We have a lot of technical manuals and boxes stacked against the walls. It is a hardworking environment where we focus on the technical details of the components we handle. We do not have any fancy art on the walls or designer furniture. It is just a practical space designed for getting the work done. The commute can be a bit of a pain with the traffic near Vaidwadi, but once we are inside, we just get to it.
