Pevonia Botanica

We are located inside The O Hotel right on North Main Road. If you know Koregaon Park, you know it’s a pretty lively area. Being in the hotel means it’s a bit quieter once you get inside. We spend our days dealing with creams, oils, and people looking to relax for an hour or two. It’s a different kind of pace than the street outside. Pevonia Botanica isn't a huge operation here. We have our rooms set up and the shelves are stocked with all the various bottles and jars we use. Most of the time, it’s just us prepping for the next person coming in. We spend a lot of time cleaning up and making sure everything is in its place. The lighting is low and we try to keep things calm. It’s not about being fancy, even though the hotel is nice. It’s just about the work. We talk to guests, help them find the right spot, and then we get started. Sometimes it’s busy with hotel guests, other times it’s locals from Pune who just want a break. We’ve been here for a while now. The staff knows the routine. It’s mostly about the hands-on stuff. We wash a lot of towels. We check the stock often. It’s a job like any other, just with more pleasant smells. If you walk past the lobby, you'll find us tucked away. We stay until the last appointment is finished for the night.
