We are located in Bhosari, over at Mahavir Nagar 294. If you know the industrial area here, you know it's all about making things move. Pentagon Assembly Automation is just a group of us who like to figure out how to make machines work better. It’s not a polished showroom by any means. We have wires hanging from benches and half-finished metal frames sitting on the floor. Usually, there’s a smell of solder and cutting fluid in the air. We spend a lot of time looking at blueprints or just staring at a conveyor belt trying to see why it’s sticking. It’s a lot of trial and error. People think automation is all robots and computers, but a lot of it is just making sure the bolts are tight and the sensors are aligned properly. Our office is just a couple of desks pushed against the wall in the same room as the machines. We drink a lot of chai to keep going in the afternoons when the energy gets low. The neighbors around Mahavir Nagar are all doing similar industrial stuff, so there’s always someone nearby if we need to borrow a specific wrench or a bit of scrap metal. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Pune. We just want the stuff we build to keep running once it leaves our doors. It’s a bit messy and loud, but it’s how we get things done every day. We don't even have a proper sign out front yet.
