Pearl Mechaplast

Pearl Mechaplast is based in B 2, 585/22 at the Sushama Apartments in Bibwewadi. It is not a big factory like you might expect from the name. We mostly handle the planning and the orders for plastic and mechanical parts from this small office. The apartment building is quite old and tucked away in a residential part of Apexa Bibwewadi. We have a few desks covered in plastic samples and technical drawings. It is a bit crowded with boxes and files everywhere. I spend most of my day on the phone or writing down measurements. The area is quite busy, so there is always the sound of scooters and cars outside the window. We don't have any fancy signage on the outside of the building. Most people who come here are suppliers or people we have known for years. The room is small and we have an old ceiling fan that keeps things cool enough. It’s a quiet place to work compared to the noisy factories we deal with. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us handling the daily tasks. Sometimes we have to move the furniture around just to make space for a new delivery of samples. It is a very practical setup. We don't worry about how the office looks as long as the work gets done. It's just how we do things here.
