In our part of the country, near the border, we grow a lot of soya and cotton. We started this group because it felt like the small farmers were getting left behind by everyone else. When we sit around at Babunath’s house, we talk about the rains and the cost of everything going up. It’s hard to make a profit when you are buying your supplies at high prices and selling your harvest at whatever the big buyers want to pay on that day. So we formed this company to give us some collective strength. We are not professional businessmen. We are just neighbors in Nerli who decided to put our names together on some paper.
