Patki Soman Chartered Accountants

Our office is located over in Karvenagar, specifically in the Kamal United Western Housing Society. It is a bit of a quiet area compared to the main roads in Pune, which is nice when you are trying to concentrate on numbers all day. Patki Soman Chartered Accountants has been operating out of this spot at 61 11 for a good while. The rooms are filled with tall metal cupboards because we have to keep so many records for everyone. It’s not the kind of place with modern glass walls or anything like that. Instead, we have solid desks and plenty of calculators lying around. The society is peaceful, and sometimes you can hear birds outside while we are typing away. We usually have a lot of coffee or tea during the busy months when the deadlines are approaching. It gets a bit cramped in here when we have a few people visiting at once, but we manage. The Maharashtra weather can get pretty warm, so we keep the windows open if there is a breeze. Being in 411052 feels right for us. We aren't trying to be some huge international firm. We are just local people who know how to handle the books. We spend a lot of time checking and re-checking things, often staying late when the sun has already gone down over Karvenagar. It's just honest work in a regular neighborhood office.
