Pargaon Samruddha Gram Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our group is based in Pargaon, over in the Daund taluka of Pune district. We operate out of Hanumant Bhagwan Botre’s place. We’re a bunch of local farmers who decided to pool our resources and see if we could make things work better for everyone in the village. Pargaon is a good place, but like anywhere else, farming has its major ups and downs. We called it Samruddha Gram because we want our village to be prosperous, though it’s a slow climb to get there. We deal with everything from getting seeds to figuring out where to sell our produce for a decent price. It’s mostly just us neighbors talking over tea and trying to solve problems as they come up. We don’t have a corporate structure with bosses and different departments. Everyone chips in where they can. Some of us are good with the tractors, and others are better with the numbers and the paperwork. We’ve faced challenges like pests and bad market rates, but being together makes it a bit easier to handle the stress. Pune city is quite a drive from here, so we have to be organized when we take our stuff to the bigger markets. We are just trying to build something that lasts. It’s not about getting rich quick; it’s about being able to keep farming for years to come. If you come to Pargaon and ask for Hanumant, you’ll find us easily.
