Parab Classes

We run our classes in Vishrantwadi, at number 33/9. It’s a straightforward setup where we teach students who are looking for a bit of extra help with their studies. The classrooms have basic benches and a chalkboard that we use all day. It’s not a fancy institute with air conditioning in every room, but the fans work well enough to keep everyone cool while they’re working through math problems or science notes. Most of our students come in the evenings after their regular school hours, so the place gets really lively around 5 PM. You can hear the chatter of teenagers in the hallways during the breaks. We started this because we liked teaching and wanted to stay in the Vishrantwadi area. It’s a small team here, just a couple of us who know the subjects well. We don't do much advertising; usually, a younger sibling comes to us because their older brother or sister did well here. The stairs leading up to the room are a bit steep, but nobody seems to mind. We spend a lot of time grading papers at the small desk in the corner. It’s simple work, but it’s what we know how to do. We just want the kids to understand what they are reading. That’s pretty much the whole story of what happens here at 33/9. We've been doing this for years and it feels right. Every now and then, we have to repaint the walls because they get scuffed up.
