Pan Autocomp Pvt Ltd is out in the Chakan area at Loha Mandi 429. Being in the iron market means there is always a lot of heavy metal around and the sound of trucks is constant. We work with auto components and the shop is more of a practical workspace than anything else. It’s quite a dusty environment because of all the industrial activity in Chakan. We spend a lot of time checking parts and making sure everything is where it should be in the warehouse area. The address at 429 is easy to find if you know the Loha Mandi area well. We have a small office section where we keep the papers but most of the action happens on the main floor. The guys here wear heavy boots because you never know when something heavy might be moving around. We usually start the day with a quick talk about what needs to get done and then we just get to it. It’s not the kind of place you’d visit for fun but it’s where we put in our hours every day. The heat in the metal sheds can be quite something during the afternoons so we drink a lot of water and take breaks when we can. It’s an industrial life and we’ve gotten used to the grime and the constant clanging of metal. We just focus on the components and getting the work finished before it's time to head home.
