Pallazzio

You can find Pallazzio at 132/1 on J M Road in Shivaji Nagar. We are situated directly opposite Modern High School. That’s the easiest way to find us because the school is such a big landmark in this part of town. The rhythm of our day is really tied to the school schedule. In the morning, it's very loud with all the parents dropping off their kids, and then it gets quiet for a few hours. Then, in the afternoon, the whole street wakes up again when the classes are over and the buses arrive. Our shop is a pretty simple space. We have the usual shelves and displays, and we try to keep things organized. It’s not a corporate environment at all. Usually, it’s just us talking to whoever walks through the door. Sometimes people come in just to ask for directions or to get out of the rain for a few minutes. We've seen a lot of changes on J M Road over the years, but our little spot at 132/1 has stayed mostly the same. We do our own cleaning and we don't have any fancy systems. We just open up, do what needs to be done, and close when the day is finally over. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when we get more than a couple of people in here at once, but we always make it work. It’s just a normal shop in a busy neighborhood and we like it that way.
