Painter Heeraram

This is Heeraram. I’m over at H P/54 Ghorpade Peth. I’ve been doing painting work around here for a good number of years now. It’s just me and a couple of helpers most of the time. We take our brushes and our ladders to wherever the job happens to be. Ghorpade Peth is our home base. Most of my day is spent on a site somewhere, covered in a bit of paint and dust. I don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. Just the small space at H P/54 where I keep my ladders and the leftover cans of paint from the last few jobs we finished. People usually find me through word of mouth. Someone's neighbor gets their walls done, then they give me a call. It's simple that way. I don't use any high-tech gear, just good brushes and rollers and my own hands. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to work, especially when it's raining outside, so we do more indoor stuff during those months. I try to be honest with people about how long a room will actually take. If I say three days, I try my very best to finish in three. Sometimes the walls are in bad shape and need a lot more scraping than I thought. That's just how the work goes. I’m not a big company. I just like seeing a room look clean when I’m finally finished with it. If you need me, you can usually find me at the house in the evenings after work is done.
