We are Pahadeshwar Farmer Producer Company, located over here in Satana in the Nashik district. Our address says Avdhoot Travels, which is just how things worked out with the space we have. Satana is known for its farming, and we’re a part of that tradition. Most of us in the group have been working the soil for as long as we can remember. It is a busy life, especially when the harvest comes around and everyone is rushing to get things done. Nashik has good land, but you still have to put in the hours and the sweat to get anything out of it. We aren't some big corporation with a lot of money; we’re just a group of local farmers who decided to pool our resources. It helps when you’re trying to move your produce to the bigger markets. We spend a lot of time talking about weather patterns and which fertilizers are actually working these days. It’s a lot of trial and error. Sometimes a crop fails and you just have to shrug and start over. That’s the way it goes. We meet up when we can to discuss how to keep things moving forward. It’s mostly just us trying to stay afloat and make sure our families are taken care of through the work we do in the fields every day. We don't really have a fancy office, but the work gets done anyway. It's just reality.
