Padmavati Engineering Corporation

Padmavati Engineering Corporation is based out of Narhe, specifically at 51/1/19. This isn't a retail shop with snacks and milk. Instead, we deal with parts, metal, and machinery stuff. The floor is usually a bit oily and there’s the sound of metal clanking throughout the day. We spend a lot of time looking at blueprints or fixing bits of equipment that come our way. It’s dirty work sometimes, and our hands are rarely clean by the end of the shift. We have a few machines of our own that we use for various jobs. The air in the workshop smells like grease and cold steel. People come to us when they need something specific made or repaired. We don't have a receptionist; usually, you just walk in and find one of us working in the back. Narhe is a busy industrial kind of area, so we fit right in. We try to keep things organized, but in an engineering shop, tools have a way of wandering off. We spend a good chunk of time just organizing the racks. It’s a lot of technical work, but we talk about it in plain English. We aren't a massive factory, just a focused operation where we get things done. It’s practical work for practical people. The windows are high up and a bit grimy, letting in just enough light to see what we’re doing on the benches. We have a lot of scrap metal piled in one corner that we eventually sell off or melt down.
