Padmaram Agroindustries Llp is run from the house of Sow. Padminibai Ramchandra Sawantgeetai. We are over in Shivaji Nagar. It’s more of a family-run kind of thing. We deal with agricultural stuff and small-scale industry work. It’s not a huge factory with hundreds of people. It’s just a few of us working together. The address is basically where we live and work. We don't have a big sign outside or a receptionist. You just walk up to the door. We spend a lot of time talking to local growers and seeing what they need. Sometimes we help with processing, other times it’s just moving goods around. Shivaji Nagar is a busy place, but we keep to ourselves mostly. We started this because we wanted something of our own. It’s a lot of paperwork and making sure things are done right. We don’t have a fancy business plan. We just take things one day at a time. If there’s work to be done, we do it. Sometimes the power goes out or the trucks are late, and we just have to deal with it. It’s not always pretty, but it’s our life. We’ve lived here for years and know all the faces on the street. It’s a simple business for simple people. We don't need much else.
