P Shona Unisex Salon

P Shona Unisex Salon is located in the Fortaleza complex in Kalyani Nagar. We have two shops, 218 and 219, in Victoria 1. It’s a bit of a maze in here if you aren’t used to the building layout. We are right next to the Kalyani Veg Restaurant and just above Pushkar Sweet. The smell of food is everywhere, which usually makes us hungry long before lunchtime. The salon is a bit of an odd shape because we combined the two shop spaces. We have mirrors lining the walls and a bunch of chairs that we try to keep in a straight line. The floor is dark, so it shows every bit of dust and hair, meaning someone is always holding a broom. Kalyani Nagar is a fast-paced area, but inside the shop, things move at their own rhythm. We have a lot of regular customers who have been coming to us since we first opened in this building. Sometimes the lift in the building doesn’t work, so people have to take the stairs, which they aren’t always happy about. We don't have a big fancy sign out front, just the usual one that everyone else has. It’s a practical space where we spend our whole day. We focus on getting the work done rather than worrying about having the newest furniture or fancy coffee machines. We just keep it simple and stay busy until it's time to lock up at night.
