Oyster Academy

We are located right in Shikshak Bhavan, over in the Navi Peth and Sadashiv Peth area of Pune. If you know this part of the city, you know it’s full of students and bookstores. Our academy is tucked into the building, and it’s been our home for a good number of years. The halls are often filled with the sound of shuffling feet and students talking about their next test. We aren't a massive institution with hundreds of employees. It is just us here, keeping things running day by day. Most of the people who come to us are local kids from the nearby societies who need a bit of a boost with their studies. The rooms are plain, with whiteboards and enough chairs to get by. We try to keep things simple. Usually, you’ll find one of us sitting at the front desk handling the morning paperwork while the classes happen in the back. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when a new batch starts, but we manage to make it work. Living and working in Sadashiv Peth means we see the same faces every day, which is nice. We aren't trying to be anything other than a local place where people can come to learn. It’s hard work, and the building shows its age a bit, but it feels like the right place for what we do. No bells or whistles, just a regular academy in a busy part of town.
