Our place is called "Samruddhi," at number 7 in the Suyog Society. We are right on Gokhale Road in Model Colony. If you know Pune, you’ll know that Model Colony is a bit more relaxed than the city center, though it still gets plenty of traffic. We run Oval Impex from this spot. It feels more like a house that was turned into an office, which is something we actually like. There is a small green area outside that we can see from our windows. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and shelves overflowing with folders and files. We have been here for quite some time, and the neighbors in the society all know us. Our day usually starts with a lot of phone calls and sorting through the mail. We handle various import and export tasks, so there is always a bit of stress when it comes to deadlines or shipping dates. The atmosphere is fairly quiet compared to the big industrial areas. We have a tiny kitchen where we make our own tea and coffee. It isn't a place with a fancy lobby or security guards at the door. It is just a regular office where we get through our daily work. Sometimes you hear the neighbors’ kids playing outside while we’re finishing up a report. It’s a comfortable enough spot to work from, even if the filing system gets messy during the busy months. We just keep things moving as best as we can.
