Oval Impex Pvt Ltd operates out of a flat in Anupam Vihar, specifically Flat No 14 in Kenjale Nagar, Bibewadi, Pune. It’s not your typical office building; it’s actually a residential apartment that we’ve turned into our workspace. This gives the whole place a very homey feel, which we actually quite like. Since we are in the import and export business, there is usually a lot of paperwork scattered around and boxes piled up in the corners. Bibewadi is a nice part of Pune, and it’s usually a bit cooler than the city center. We spend our days tracking shipments, talking to suppliers, and making sure everything is moving through the ports like it should. We don't have a big sign outside, so if you weren't looking for us, you’d probably just think it was another home in Anupam Vihar. We use the kitchen to make lunch, and sometimes we sit on the balcony for a few minutes to clear our heads. It’s a small operation, just a handful of us managing the records and the logistics. We don't have a human resources department or a marketing team. It’s just us, some computers, and a lot of phone calls. The work is steady and sometimes a bit stressful when a shipment is late, but being in a flat makes it feel a bit more relaxed. We’ve been here at Kenjale Nagar for a few years and it suits us just fine.
