Outland Exports Private Limited operates out of Hadapsar in Pune. Our specific spot is at Ganga Orchard, Hno 12 3 4 S 80, over in Pingle Wasti. If you know Pune, you know Hadapsar is always expanding and getting more crowded. We handle the export side of things from this office. It’s a mix of a residential and commercial area, which is nice because it’s not as cold as an industrial park. We have boxes and files everywhere because shipping things out involves a lot of documents. It isn't a polished showroom. It’s more of a functional space where we get on the phone and track containers. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power goes out, but we just wait it out or find another way to finish the task. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to make sure the stuff we send out reaches where it needs to go without getting stuck in customs. The team is small, just a couple of people who know the export rules. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the logistics of moving goods. It’s a lot of coordination between the warehouse and the transport guys. We’ve been at this for a bit now and the routine stays pretty much the same every week. Moving goods across borders is mostly about staying organized and being ready for delays.
