Orchid Management Consultancy is located here in Pune. We don't have one of those big, shiny offices in a tech park. Instead, we work more directly with the people who need us. Most of our time is spent helping other businesses get their act together. That could mean helping them find staff or fixing their internal processes. It’s a lot of talking and listening. Pune has grown so much lately, and every new company that pops up seems to run into the same old problems. We try to help them avoid the usual mistakes. We aren't a big firm with a bunch of fancy titles. We're just people who have been around the block a few times and know how things work. Sometimes we meet clients at their offices, other times we just chat over tea. It’s a very hands-on way of doing things. We don't use a lot of jargon or complicated charts. If a business is struggling to find the right people, we look through our contacts and find a match. It’s about being useful to the folks who hire us. Most of our day is spent on the phone or answering emails. It’s not a flashy life, but it’s good to see a local shop or a small factory start doing better after we’ve spent some time helping them out. We just keep it simple and focus on what needs to be fixed today. It's a quiet way to work in a very loud city.
