Opal Computers

Opal Computers has been sitting here in Market Yard on Rokadiya Cross Lane 7 for a while now. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always something going on outside our door. We mostly spend our time looking at screens and trying to figure out why a motherboard isn't working or why a hard drive is making that clicking sound. It’s a messy job sometimes with all the dust inside old cases, but someone has to do it. We aren't a big showroom with bright lights. Most of our space is taken up by spare parts and computers that are waiting for their owners to pick them up. We started out just because we were the people friends called when their laptops died. Now it is a full-time thing. Lane 7 is easy to find if you know Market Yard well. We have a couple of guys who are good with software and one who is better with the soldering iron. We don't have a secretary or a marketing person. If you call, you just get one of us. Sometimes we are a bit slow to answer the phone if we’re in the middle of a tricky repair, but we get back to everyone eventually. It’s a plain, honest business. We just want to get your machine running again so you can go back to whatever you were doing.
