Our Pune office is over at P1 8 Gandharva Nagri in Tapkir Nagar, specifically in the Bhosari area along the Pune Nashik highway. It’s a very industrial part of town, which actually fits the kind of design work we do quite well. We’re surrounded by factories and workshops, so we feel right at home with the sound of machinery in the distance. The office itself is functional and straightforward. We don’t have a lot of fancy decorations because we’d rather spend that time on our projects. There’s usually a lot of talk about materials and how things are manufactured. Since we are near the highway, it’s easy for people to drop by, though the traffic can be a nightmare during the morning rush. We have a small team here that’s been together for a while. We know each other’s habits and how we like to work. It’s not a corporate environment where everyone wears a suit; we usually just wear what’s comfortable for a long day at the desk. Sometimes we go out to the local shops for lunch and talk about things other than design. It’s a grounded way of living and working. We’ve seen Bhosari grow and change over the years, and we’ve grown with it.
