Omega Computers

Our place is at 103-B on Tilak Road, right in the Shivshakti Apartments area where Kelkar Road meets the main street. It’s a busy spot for Omega Computers and there is always something going on with all the traffic outside. Inside, the office is pretty much filled with monitors and open computer towers. We have cables running across the floor in some places, so you have to watch where you step. It’s not a fancy corporate office, just a workspace where we get things done. The apartment building is an older one and we have been in this unit for a while. You can usually find a stack of keyboards or some old motherboards waiting to be looked at. The air inside always smells a bit like warm electronics because of all the machines we have running at once. We don't have a lot of staff, just a few of us here every day. We usually have the radio on in the background, but it’s hard to hear over the sound of the computer fans sometimes. Tilak Road is noisy from the morning bus traffic, but it keeps us in the middle of everything. We spend a lot of time sitting at the benches and working through whatever is on the desk. It’s a functional space and it suits us just fine. Most people in the building know us for all the boxes we have coming in and out.
